La campagne <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hireimmigrantsottawa.ca\/immigrantswork\/\"><strong>#Talentsimmigr\u00e9s<\/strong><\/a> vise \u00e0 sensibiliser le public aux contributions significatives des immigrants \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie canadienne, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 leur contribution continue dans la reprise des activit\u00e9s apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie de la COVID-19 au Canada. Le lancement de la campagne a permis \u00e0 des voix influentes de se r\u00e9unir pour discuter du r\u00f4le essentiel jou\u00e9 par les immigrants \u00e0 l\u2019heure actuelle, et au fil du redressement \u00e9conomique. Cette discussion cruciale a touch\u00e9 plus de 30\u2009000 personnes et a hiss\u00e9 #Talentsimmigr\u00e9s au premier et au deuxi\u00e8me rang des mots-clics les plus populaires \u00e0 Ottawa et au Canada, respectivement.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It&#39;s twitter chat day! Plus r\u00e9cemment, le maintien des niveaux d\u2019immigration apr\u00e8s la r\u00e9cession de 2008 a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 la croissance \u00e9conomique du Canada pendant toute une d\u00e9cennie. Les talents immigr\u00e9s sont tout aussi n\u00e9cessaires aujourd\u2019hui. <a href=\"https:\/\/www150.statcan.gc.ca\/t1\/tbl1\/fr\/tv.action?pid=1410008301&amp;pickMembers%5B0%5D=1.1&amp;pickMembers%5B1%5D=3.2&amp;pickMembers%5B2%5D=4.1&amp;request_locale=fr\">Repr\u00e9sentant un quart de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre canadienne<\/a>, les immigrants continueront \u00e0 jouer un r\u00f4le essentiel dans les plans de reconstruction et du redressement de l\u2019\u00e9conomie canadienne qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 perturb\u00e9 par la pand\u00e9mie de la COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Voici un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 des principaux th\u00e8mes qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 soulev\u00e9s lors de la discussion\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Toutes les industries du Canada ont b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de la contribution des talents immigr\u00e9s.<\/strong> Notamment, dans la lutte contre la COVID-19, de nombreux immigrants ont travaill\u00e9 en premi\u00e8re ligne, fournissant des soins dans nos h\u00f4pitaux et nos \u00e9tablissements de soins de longue dur\u00e9e, et d\u2019autres services essentiels pour que le Canada puisse continuer \u00e0 \u00e9voluer. En tant que pays, il est essentiel que les contributions pass\u00e9es des immigrants et celles qu\u2019ils continuent de fournir pendant cette p\u00e9riode sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent ne soient <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=91Bf414Qnic&amp;feature=youtu.be\">pas oubli\u00e9es<\/a> alors que l\u2019\u00e9conomie commence \u00e0 se redresser.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Les immigrants sont propri\u00e9taires d\u2019entreprises et contribuent \u00e0 la croissance \u00e9conomique et \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois au Canada.<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www150.statcan.gc.ca\/n1\/pub\/11f0019m\/11f0019m2019011-fra.htm\">Une \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e en 2019<\/a> par Statistique Canada a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les entreprises appartenant \u00e0 des immigrants avaient un niveau de cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 et \u00e9taient plus susceptibles de conna\u00eetre une forte croissance que celles dont les propri\u00e9taires \u00e9taient n\u00e9s au Canada. Avant la crise de la COVID-19, les entrepreneurs immigrants cr\u00e9aient <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cicnews.com\/2020\/04\/after-coronavirus-immigrants-will-be-key-to-canadas-economic-recovery-0414130.html#gs.7bwmaj\">25\u00a0% des nouveaux postes dans le secteur priv\u00e9<\/a>. Avec la relance de l\u2019\u00e9conomie, les immigrants propri\u00e9taires d\u2019entreprises joueront un r\u00f4le essentiel dans la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019emplois au Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>L\u2019immigration continuera d\u2019\u00eatre un pilier important de la croissance strat\u00e9gique du Canada apr\u00e8s la crise de la COVID.<\/strong> Les probl\u00e8mes d\u00e9mographiques qui touchaient le Canada avant la COVID-19 persisteront apr\u00e8s la reprise : le vieillissement de la population et le faible taux de natalit\u00e9 signifient que l\u2019immigration continuera d\u2019\u00eatre un moteur essentiel de la croissance d\u00e9mographique au Canada. Les immigrants augmentent le potentiel de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre canadienne et \u00e9largissent l\u2019assiette fiscale n\u00e9cessaire pour soutenir les services publics essentiels, comme les soins de sant\u00e9.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>La diversit\u00e9 est toujours importante et constitue un atout qui a une incidence sur les r\u00e9sultats.<\/strong> De nombreuses \u00e9tudes ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les organismes diversifi\u00e9s sont non seulement plus productifs et plus innovants, mais <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mckinsey.com\/business-functions\/organization\/our-insights\/delivering-through-diversity\">elles surpassent aussi de 33\u00a0% leurs concurrents moins diversifi\u00e9s<\/a>. La diversit\u00e9 continuera d\u2019\u00eatre un avantage concurrentiel pour les entreprises qui repensent leur mod\u00e8le d\u2019entreprise et cherchent des solutions innovantes pour mener leurs activit\u00e9s dans la nouvelle \u00e9conomie. Les immigrants repr\u00e9sentent un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 de cette diversit\u00e9, offrant des perspectives et des exp\u00e9riences uniques qui peuvent contribuer \u00e0 la r\u00e9imagination des entreprises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>L\u2019inclusion des immigrants dans la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre canadienne pr\u00e9sente encore des d\u00e9fis.<\/strong> Tandis que les arguments \u00e9conomiques en faveur de la diversit\u00e9 et l\u2019incidence positive des immigrants sur l\u2019\u00e9conomie canadienne sont \u00e9vidents, les immigrants continuent de se heurter \u00e0 des obstacles en mati\u00e8re de <a href=\"https:\/\/knowledge.wes.org\/canada-report-who-is-succeeding-in-the-canadian-labour-market.html\">l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un emploi qui correspond \u00e0 leur \u00e9ducation, leurs comp\u00e9tences et leur exp\u00e9rience<\/a>. Alors que les entreprises commencent \u00e0 se reconstruire, les pratiques en mati\u00e8re d\u2019emploi doivent \u00eatre repens\u00e9es afin d\u2019atteindre le plein potentiel de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre immigr\u00e9e au Canada. L\u2019am\u00e9lioration des conditions des immigrants pour qu\u2019ils puissent s\u2019\u00e9panouir passe notamment par une reconnaissance efficace des titres de comp\u00e9tences et de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience professionnelle acquise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger et par l\u2019adoption de pratiques d\u2019embauche non discriminatoires.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Comment pouvez-vous soutenir la campagne #Talentsimmigr\u00e9s? <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La coalition nationale qui dirige cette campagne est d\u00e9sireuse de passer de la sensibilisation \u00e0 l\u2019action positive. Alors que les entreprises canadiennes sont en pleine reprise, il est possible de r\u00e9imaginer de nouvelles pratiques d\u2019embauche et de favoriser l\u2019inclusion des immigrants de mani\u00e8re intentionnelle. Alors que la campagne se poursuit, la coalition invite les employeurs et les organismes qui aident ces derniers \u00e0 trouver des talents immigr\u00e9s, \u00e0 partager de bonnes id\u00e9es pour l\u2019inclusion des immigrants dans le milieu de travail, comme des meilleures pratiques, des outils ou des ressources qui peuvent aider les entreprises canadiennes \u00e0 inclure les immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>Voici quelques mani\u00e8res dont les intervenants peuvent s\u2019engager et contribuer \u00e0 la campagne #Talentsimmigr\u00e9s\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Partager une meilleure pratique <\/strong>pour le recrutement, l\u2019int\u00e9gration et la r\u00e9tention des talents immigr\u00e9s.
