Dans son nouveau rapport intitul\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cidi-icdi.ca\/\"><i>What Gets Measured Gets Done<\/i><\/a><i>\u00a0\u00bb<\/i>, l\u2019ICDI mentionne qu\u2019un recensement d\u2019employ\u00e9s peut \u00eatre une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape importante en vue de la conception, de la mise en \u0153uvre et de l\u2019\u00e9valuation de l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 et de l\u2019impact d\u2019initiatives de diversit\u00e9. Pourtant, pr\u00e8s de la moiti\u00e9 des organisations canadiennes ne tiennent pas compte des donn\u00e9es d\u00e9mographiques fondamentales de leurs effectifs, et peu d\u2019organisations mesurent l\u2019incidence de leurs initiatives en mati\u00e8re de diversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Pour en savoir davantage sur ce sujet important, Embauche immigrants Ottawa a organis\u00e9 un atelier le 15 mai dernier \u00e0 l\u2019intention des professionnels des RH, des gestionnaires d\u2019embauche et d\u2019autres intervenants. Deux employeurs d\u2019Ottawa qui utilisent les donn\u00e9es des employ\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re strat\u00e9gique \u00e0 des fins d\u2019inclusion et d\u2019excellence organisationnelle, ont anim\u00e9 cette s\u00e9ance.<\/p>\n<p>Madame Janice McCoy, surintendante des ressources humaines, Conseil scolaire du district d\u2019Ottawa-Carleton (CSDOC), a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 un aper\u00e7u du Cheminement du CSDOC vers l\u2019\u00e9tablissement d\u2019une culture \u00e9quitable, diversifi\u00e9e et inclusive (<a href=\"http:\/\/hireimmigrantsottawa.ca\/downloads\/2013-OCDSB-HIO-MAY15.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Journey to Building an Equitable, Diverse and Inclusive Culture<\/a>). Les participants de l\u2019atelier ont appris comment le CSDOC a proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e0 un recensement de ses employ\u00e9s afin de mieux cerner les caract\u00e9ristiques diversifi\u00e9es de son effectif et son aptitude \u00e0 mieux servir une population d\u2019\u00e9tudiants et de parents de plus en plus diversifi\u00e9e. Madame McCoy a expliqu\u00e9 comment le Conseil utilise ces donn\u00e9es pour identifier les besoins en formation et en perfectionnement des employ\u00e9s, et guider l\u2019\u00e9laboration de ses politiques et \u00a0proc\u00e9dures.<\/p>\n<p>Madame Lois Emburg, gestionnaire de programme, Diversit\u00e9 et Inclusion \u00e0 la Ville d\u2019Ottawa, a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hireimmigrantsottawa.ca\/downloads\/2013-CityofOttawa-HIO-MAY15.pdf\">l\u2019Optique d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et d\u2019inclusion<\/a>, un outil pratique qu\u2019utilise la Ville d\u2019Ottawa pour promouvoir la diversit\u00e9 et l\u2019inclusion. Elle a parl\u00e9 des r\u00e9ussites de la Ville relativement \u00e0 l\u2019utilisation de cet outil et a mentionn\u00e9 que la municipalit\u00e9 s\u2019appr\u00eate \u00e0 entreprendre un projet d\u2019\u00e9valuation de type sondage pour mesurer l\u2019impact et l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 de cet outil.<\/p>\n<p><b>Des ressources pour mieux comprendre vos effectifs :<\/b><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cidi-icdi.ca\/\">What Gets Measured Gets Done: Measuring the Return on Investment of Diversity and Inclusion<\/a>\u00a0(en anglais seulement). R\u00e9dig\u00e9 par l\u2019Institut canadien de la diversit\u00e9 et de l\u2019inclusion, ce rapport pr\u00e9sente un aper\u00e7u transsectoriel de ce que font les employeurs canadiens pour mesurer la diversit\u00e9 et l\u2019inclusion, les initiatives en mati\u00e8re de droits de la personne et d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 au sein de leurs organisations, en plus de souligner des pratiques prometteuses d\u2019organisations chefs de files. Le rapport contient une trousse pour aider les praticiens des RH \u00e0 \u00e9valuer le RCI de la diversit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ottawa.ca\/fr\/hotel-de-ville\/decouvrir-votre-ville\/profil-et-statistiques-economiques\/optique-dequite-et\">L\u2019Optique d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et d\u2019inclusion<\/a>\u00a0est un outil innovateur et pratique qui permet \u00e0 tous les employ\u00e9s et gestionnaires de la Ville d\u2019Ottawa de promouvoir l\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 et l\u2019inclusion de mani\u00e8re syst\u00e9matique. L\u2019Optique s\u2019accompagne de\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ottawa.ca\/fr\/hotel-de-ville\/decouvrir-votre-ville\/profil-et-statistiques-economiques\/optique-dequite-et\">11 Portraits de la diversit\u00e9<\/a>, qui servent d\u2019outils efficaces d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de sensibilisation. L\u2019Optique peut s\u2019appliquer dans diverses situations de travail, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de travailler avec les gens, de concevoir des communications, d\u2019\u00e9laborer des politiques, de planifier des projets ou encore de recruter, d\u2019interviewer et de former des personnes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ottawa.ca\/sites\/ottawa.ca\/files\/attachments\/ottpage\/eil_user_guide_fr.pdf\">Comptez \u2013 moi! Collecte de donn\u00e9es relatives aux droits de la personne<\/a>\u00a0est un guide pratique destin\u00e9 aux professionnels des ressources humaines int\u00e9ress\u00e9s \u00e0 la collecte de donn\u00e9es d\u00e9mographiques sur les employ\u00e9s. R\u00e9dig\u00e9e par la Commission ontarienne des droits de la personne, cette ressource comprend des exemples d\u2019entreprises canadiennes qui ont entrepris des initiatives de collecte de donn\u00e9es et qui, selon la Commission, peuvent se r\u00e9v\u00e9ler utile pour l\u2019\u00e9laboration de strat\u00e9gies solides en mati\u00e8re de droits de la personne et de ressources humaines pour les organisations de tous les secteurs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ottawa.ca\/sites\/ottawa.ca\/files\/attachments\/ottpage\/eil_user_guide_fr.pdf\">Enqu\u00eate nationale aupr\u00e8s des m\u00e9nages<\/a>\u00a0: Cette enqu\u00eate de 2011 de Statistique Canada a remplac\u00e9 le recensement d\u00e9taill\u00e9 comme source d\u2019information sur les caract\u00e9ristiques de la population canadienne. Des donn\u00e9es sur l\u2019immigration et la diversit\u00e9 ethnoculturelle sont maintenant disponibles en ligne.
