Cet expert a mis en \u00e9vidence les d\u00e9fis auxquels les nouveaux arrivants devaient se buter lorsqu\u2019ils commencent leurs recherches d\u2019emploi sans r\u00e9seau de soutien professionnel au Canada. Musset Pierre-J\u00e9r\u00f4me, conseiller en ressources humaines \u00e0 Emploi et D\u00e9veloppement social Canada, a avanc\u00e9 ce d\u00e9fi de son propre point de vue en relatant son p\u00e9riple au Canada. Il a mentionn\u00e9 avoir de la difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 comprendre les nuances dans le syst\u00e8me canadien et \u00e0 s\u2019int\u00e9grer aux r\u00e9seaux. <\/p>\n<p>Tatiana Tolstsik, coordonnatrice en s\u00e9lection et en recrutement \u00e0 la Chambre des communes, a discut\u00e9 de son parcours professionnel au Canada, plus particuli\u00e8rement de l\u2019importance de b\u00e2tir des relations. Elle a d\u00e9crit comment elle \u00e9tablissait et encourageait n\u2019importe quel type de nouvelles relations. Elle a partag\u00e9 un conseil avec les nouveaux arrivants pr\u00e9sents : \u00ab Il ne faut pas h\u00e9siter \u00e0 demander de l\u2019aide et \u00e0 appeler des commentaires \u00bb; il faut prendre des risques et sortir de sa zone de confort pour r\u00e9ussir. <\/p>\n<p>Amy MacLeod, responsable de la diversit\u00e9 du tissu de l\u2019entreprise et vice-pr\u00e9sidente des communications strat\u00e9giques chez Mitel, a mis en commun des exemples de programmes et de structures de mentorat et d\u2019assistance professionnelle pouvant \u00eatre mis en \u0153uvre au sein d\u2019organisations et pour appuyer l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de relations, de confiance et d\u2019occasions. Mme MacLeod a soulign\u00e9 le r\u00f4le de programmes de mentorat r\u00e9ciproque ou invers\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant particuli\u00e8rement pr\u00e9cieux et ayant des avantages impr\u00e9vus et involontaires. Ces avantages m\u00e8nent souvent \u00e0 de nouveaux changements, perspectives et occasions au sein des organisations. <\/p>\n<p>Tous les experts ont soulign\u00e9 que leurs perspectives et leurs connaissances avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 renforc\u00e9es par l\u2019encadrement et l\u2019\u00e9tablissement de relations. En outre, il y avait consensus pour les milieux de travail : pour \u00eatre plus productives et prendre des d\u00e9cisions plus \u00e9clair\u00e9es, les organisations doivent avoir une meilleure compr\u00e9hension des diverses exp\u00e9riences et de la capacit\u00e9 des immigrants \u00e0 \u00eatre eux-m\u00eame au travail. <\/p>\n<p>M. Pulfer a d\u00e9crit son exp\u00e9rience d\u2019encadrement de nouveaux arrivants comme \u00e9tant profond\u00e9ment touchante. En effet, elle l\u2019a pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 encourager ses pairs canadiens \u00e0 encadrer les nouveaux arrivants. MM.
