Elle recommande les pratiques prometteuses suivantes aux employeurs qui cherchent \u00e0 embaucher et \u00e0 int\u00e9grer les nouveaux arrivants dans leur milieu de travail.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9liminer l\u2019exigence en mati\u00e8re d\u2019exp\u00e9rience de travail au Canada : La barri\u00e8re la plus courante \u00e0 laquelle font face les nouveaux arrivants demeure un manque d\u2019exp\u00e9rience de travail au Canada. Un pr\u00e9jug\u00e9 involontaire existe encore parmi les employeurs qui croient qu\u2019il est appropri\u00e9 de demander si les nouveaux arrivants ont de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de travail au Canada.<\/p>\n<p>La <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ohrc.on.ca\/fr\/politique-sur-la-suppression-des-obstacles-li%C3%A9s-%C3%A0-l%E2%80%99%C2%AB-exp%C3%A9rience-canadienne-%C2%BB\" target=\"_blank\">Commission ontarienne des droits de la personne a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 <\/a>qu\u2019une stricte exigence en mati\u00e8re d\u2019exp\u00e9rience de travail au Canada est consid\u00e9r\u00e9e discriminatoire et que les employeurs ne peuvent poser la question que dans des circonstances tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>La pratique exemplaire consiste \u00e0 ne pas demander o\u00f9 les candidats ont acquis leur exp\u00e9rience de travail, mais de demander plut\u00f4t quelle est leur exp\u00e9rience de travail.<\/p>\n<p>Pythian a d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 des efforts pour \u00e9liminer les pr\u00e9jug\u00e9s involontaires du processus de recrutement en rempla\u00e7ant le nom des candidats sur leur CV par un num\u00e9ro d\u2019identification. Ce processus \u00e0 l\u2019aveugle porte l\u2019attention du gestionnaire recruteur sur l\u2019exp\u00e9rience de travail du candidat.<\/p>\n<p>Puisque Pythian re\u00e7oit des CV de partout au monde, son \u00e9quipe des RH supprime \u00e9galement des demandes d\u2019emploi tout renseignement sur le pays d\u2019origine, d\u2019\u00e9tudes et de formation du candidat.<\/p>\n<p>Pythian s\u2019assure aussi que les comit\u00e9s d\u2019embauche comprennent non seulement au moins deux intervieweurs, mais aussi un repr\u00e9sentant des RH pour porter l\u2019attention du gestionnaire recruteur sur les qualifications du candidat.<\/p>\n<p>Incorporer le mentorat par les pairs dans le processus d\u2019int\u00e9gration des nouveaux employ\u00e9s : Une autre barri\u00e8re courante touchant les nouveaux arrivants est la pr\u00e9occupation de ne pas \u00eatre suffisamment \u00ab canadien \u00bb pour s\u2019int\u00e9grer dans le milieu de travail.<\/p>\n<p>Pythian aborde cette barri\u00e8re en s\u2019assurant que, dans le cadre du processus d\u2019int\u00e9gration, chaque nouvel employ\u00e9 est jumel\u00e9 \u00e0 un employ\u00e9 de longue date. Non seulement les pairs mentors aident ils les nouvelles recrues \u00e0 naviguer la culture de l\u2019entreprise, mais ils aident aussi \u00e0 franchir l\u2019\u00e9cart culturel.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, les nouveaux arrivants trouvent souvent que le r\u00e9seautage professionnel est une exp\u00e9rience d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able parce que, dans certaines cultures, il est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant impoli de demander de l\u2019aide aux inconnus. Un pair mentor qui oriente les nouveaux arrivants dans les rituels du r\u00e9seautage peut aider \u00e0 combler le foss\u00e9 culturel.<\/p>\n<p>Officialiser les pratiques exemplaires dans les politiques : Bien que la diversit\u00e9 fasse partie de la culture organisationnelle de Pythian depuis sa fondation, l\u2019entreprise a travaill\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019officialisation de ses pratiques au fil des ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, Pythian permet \u00e0 ses employ\u00e9s de prendre leurs jours f\u00e9ri\u00e9s quand ils veulent. Cette politique donne aux employ\u00e9s la flexibilit\u00e9 de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les jours qui leur sont importants \u2013 une pratique que les employ\u00e9s travaillant dans d\u2019autres pays appr\u00e9cient \u00e9galement.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9liminer les barri\u00e8res linguistiques : Les nouveaux arrivants ressentent souvent le besoin de s\u2019excuser pour le fait que l\u2019anglais soit leur langue seconde. Pythian n\u2019effectue pas de v\u00e9rification de la comp\u00e9tence linguistique de ses employ\u00e9s. L\u2019entreprise encourage ses employ\u00e9s \u00e0 se parler les uns aux autres dans leur langue maternelle et avec les clients du monde entier.
